Works great for my seal pup, perfect amount of retention, a quality product that seems like it will last for years to come and it’s made in Ottawa !!!

Looks great. Retention not so much

This is a really great looking sheath and seems to be well built. However, the retention is far too stiff and you cannot pull the knife out of the sheath one handed. I am trying to sheath and unsheath many times, shaving off some of the inside kydex each time, which is helping loosen it up a bit. Still very stiff and not able to pull the knife out without pulling down on the bottom of the sheath. To be truthful, I wouldn't feel safe giving this to anyone else to use, as you essentially have to pull the knife and sheath apart forcefully. I am not a knife or sheath expert, but the fit just doesn't seem to be right as compared to other kydex sheaths I have. Definitely disappointed I can't use it on my belt one handed. I think that's what most people would want this for. Going to have to be a backpack only sheath. Maybe with enough use, it will eventually be able to be used one handed. Hopefully with submission of this review, they will improve and make sure the fit is proper before sending out.
